Business Intelligence and Payroll Automation

MG Technology Group, a developer of information technology solutions for large franchise chains, today announced Griffin Fast Lube, the 2007 Jiffy Lube Operator of the year, is live on the companies' business intelligence solution; Management Toolbox. “With Management Toolbox Griffin has immediate reporting on all business functions delivered to the management team everyday on their desktop, PDA or Smart Phone.” said Grant Thompson, a managing partner of MG Technology Group. 

“We selected Management Toolbox for three reasons” said DJ Griffin of Griffin Fast Lube, “it provides reporting we can’t easily get from our POS system, every report can be scheduled to run and email the recipient automatically, and it was very easy to implement.” he added. Management Toolbox is designed to work with the Jiffy Lube International (JLI) POSnet point of sale system to provide accounting and payroll interfaces in addition to extensive tools for reporting and analysis in management of Jiffy Lube franchise chains.

Management Toolbox is offered as Software as a Service (SaaS) so there is no hardware to implement or software to install. Users need only sign in to their dedicated website and once authenticated can start using the system immediately. “The return on investment (ROI) is almost immediate because our clients reap the rewards of better information and reduced reliance on manual spreadsheets from the first day they go live” added Thompson. “With no infrastructure to add and a subscription price model it is very easy for franchisees to try the system under our no-obligation test drive,” continued Thompson “and once they try it, our clients stay with us.”
